NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) is about utilising language patterns designed to match how the brain works and so bring about rapid change.  It quickly accesses and resolves the essence and the root cause of your problem.

Biofeedback is the process of monitoring the body’s own responses to learn how to control them.  Biofeedback can be used for stress management and to ease the pain of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)  There is a link between your heart rate & rhythm, and your nervous systems.  Using the latest computer technology, we can use your heart rate (measured through your wrists) to teach you how to achieve the optimum balance of your internal nervous system which will help you gain control over your stress levels, relaxing you, as well as calming and soothing your bowel if you have IBS.  Once mastered you can use this technique yourself and free yourself from stress and/or the pain and discomfort of Irritable Bowel.  This system is widely used in America and Sheila Ross, Clinical Hypnotherapist, has now brought it to Edinburgh. This can be done on its own or in conjunction with hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is recognised by the medical profession as one of the few effective treatments for this Irritable Bowel
